For graphics, y' need proof of work. Also, the graphics department is pretty much full to the brim. But I'm sure you can become a BETA tester.

I use paint to make all of mine. Just zoom in close on the penguin that's given in the game updates section, and start drawing some stuff on the penguin. You'll get much better at it over time, and its alot of fun.
